Shield is a simple and low-cost redesign of a catheter bag stand that utilises recycled single-use disposable plastic sterilisation tray wraps and drapes, commonly used in hospital operating theatre’s. The design replaces a design that has not changed in 50 years by providing a stable platform with a secure handle that discreetly hides the bags contents from view.
